Instinct

Ian instinctively lowers himself to the ground before splashing in the water. Based on this and his (good sensed) refusal to stand up on the unstable foam platform at swim lessons, we are confident he will survive an ice break -- you know, if he ever went ice fishing in Minnesota. Must be the Viking blood in his lineage.
